Hayden Wayne - Symphony #10-Dances On The Far Side Of The Moon / This symphonic work is for large orchestra executing four dance movements with departures from Reggae, Tango, Samba, and marches. This symphonic work is for large orchestra: 12 woods, 11 brass, 6 percussionists, 66-82 strings, executing four dance movements with departures from Reggae, Tango, Samba, and marches. The moon is 1/400th the size of the sun Orbiting 1/400th the distance between the earth and the sun Bigger than it should be Older than it should be In November 1969, the intentional crashing of the lunar module (LM), with a force of one ton, created shockwaves that built up to a peak in eight minutes and continued for almost an hour, as recorded by the seismometer left behind. When at 8:09 pm EST, on April 14th, 1970 Apollo 13 turned for home, the fifteen ton third stage of the Saturn V lunch Vehicle crashed to the moon with a force of eleven and a half tons of TNT, causing it to ring like a bell, as recorded by the very seismometer the astronauts of Apollo 12 left behind, eighty-five miles east-southeast of the impact. The reverberations lasted three hours and twenty minutes, to a depth of twenty-five miles, demonstrating the moon possibility had virtually no core, and wobbling the moon in such a way as if it had an extremely large hydraulic damper strut in it's interior. The moon is also moving away from us at a rate of 3.78cm, or 1.48 inches a year.
